The 4th Conference of the Section of Woody Plant Diseases of The Polish Phytopathological Society.

The Conference "Chemiczne metody ochrony roślin drzewiastych przed chorobami - pozytywne aspekty i zagrożenia" ("Chemical methods for woody plants protection against diseases - positve aspects and threats") took place on 5.07-7.07.2000, in Rogów and Skierniewice. It was organized by dr Anna Bielenin and her co-workers from the Research Institute of Pomology and Floriculture in Skierniewice, in cooperation with the Łódź Regional Directorate of State Forest, and Skierniewice Forest District.
At the beginning of the conference Prof. R. Siwecki, chairman of the Section, handed to dr Bielenin the sculpture awarded yearly to organizers of subsequent Section conferences (photo).
After a year spent in Skierniewice it will be sent to wherever the 5th conference will be held.
