Phytopathologia(to no. 50. edited as "Phytopathologia Polonica") is a scientific journal published by the Polish Phytopathological Society and Bogucki Wydawnictwo Naukowe, in English since 1991 (issued as a quarterly from 2002 on, Ministry od Science and Higher Education list - 4 scores).
It covers the field of plant pathology within agricultural, horticultural and forest environment.
It is open to research papers, short communications and information on major events in the field of plant pathology.
Members of the Polish Phytopathological Society are privileged to publish abstracts of doctor dissertations and of habilitation theses.
Information for Authors
Phytopathologia is a quarterly. The Editorial Committee will qualify a paper for publication basing on the opinion of two reviewers.
Authors are asked to submit their texts in English.
Previously published results of research should NOT be included in the paper.
The article (including literature, tables and illustrations) should not be longer than 12 normal, typed pages (Times New Roman print 12 pp, left margin 4 cm, 34 lines per page).
The format of the articles should be as follows: Abstract (max. 10 lines), Key words (max. 10 words), Introduction, Materials and methods, Results, Discussion, Acknowledgement(s), Literature, Author's address (with e-mail address).
"Short communications" are short research notes (up to six pages) concerning various problems and new observations of phytopathological phenomena. They will be qualified for publication by the Editorial Committee basing on the opinion of one reviewer.
